INplay 2010

Interactive Ontario is pleased to announce the first-ever INplay conference was a resounding success. The inaugural two-day conference held at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, welcomed 334 participants and featured 3 keynote presentations, 106 speakers, 27 panel sessions and presentations.

A contest was also held to help IO name its INplay Mascot. The winner of the contest, out of more than 100 entries, was Tim Tyler, President, Cheshire Animation from Saskatoon who suggested the winning name: Digit.

And coming in the new year, GameON: Finance 4 returns to the Design Exchange on January 11 and 12, 2011. GameON: Finance is an investment forum for the interactive games industry, which will connect game developers, innovators, investors and industry leaders.
